Release notes

Introduced a Next-gen Siemens S7 widget that enables updating Sample Values directly from Next-gen dashboards. Setup can utilize the SiteManager configuration for easy provisioning or be configured manually by adding data addresses, with support for reading and writing strings and char arrays.

IG-2194 Identity & Access Management Upgrade (SSO-Ready)

Release notes

We’ve introduced a new identity and access management foundation based on Keycloak, significantly strengthening security and preparing DCC for seamless Single Sign-On (SSO) integration.
This change moves authentication to a dedicated, industry-standard system, reducing reliance on proprietary user management while improving scalability, security, and flexibility.
The new setup includes support for multi-factor authentication (MFA) with both user-level and company-level enforcement, along with a structured model for integrating customer identity providers such as Active Directory.
It also introduces a controlled onboarding flow for future SSO users, ensuring that access rights are managed within DCC while authentication is handled externally.
As part of this upgrade, all users have been migrated to the new system. Users are required to reset their password and configure MFA upon first login.
This lays the groundwork for full SSO support and more advanced identity management capabilities in future releases.

IG-2331 Frontend Performance Improvements

Release notes

The frontend has been upgraded to React 19, bringing performance enhancements across the platform.
In addition, improvements to how the application is delivered, such as optimized loading and reduced data transfer, result in faster load times and a more responsive user experience.
These changes improve overall performance and scalability, especially for larger deployments and complex views.

IG-2335 Instant MQTT Permission Synchronization

Release notes

We’ve eliminated synchronization delays between the frontend and the MQTT broker. Device changes and permissions now apply instantly, removing the previous 30-second wait

IG-2375 Next-gen Line Chart widget Enhancements

Release notes

Several usability and visualization improvements have been added to the line chart component:

  • Synchronized tooltips across charts:
A new setting allows charts to share hover interactions. When enabled, hovering a timestamp in one chart will display corresponding tooltips in other charts with the same setting, provided data exists for that time.
Setting: “Synchronize tooltip with other charts that have enabled this”
  • Custom line width per datasource:
Users can configure line thickness individually for each datasource to improve readability when working with multiple signals.
  • Show full selected time period:
A new option ensures the chart always displays the full globally selected time range, regardless of whether data exists for the entire period. This makes data gaps visible instead of compressing the timeline.
Setting: “Show full selected time period”

IG-2378 Alert Group Synchronization Status Indicators

Release notes

Added visual indicators to Alert Groups to distinguish between saved and prefilled values. Users can now easily identify if device changes are pending or require manual saving, simplifying troubleshooting and ensuring alert consistency across all devices.

IG-2385 Automatic Certificate Renewal for Active Connections

Release notes

Certificates for connected devices are now continuously monitored and renewed, even while a connection is active.
This ensures that devices which remain online for extended periods do not risk losing connectivity due to expired credentials when reconnecting.
The update improves overall reliability and reduces the need for manual intervention in long-running deployments.

Release notes

Navigation from audit log entries to license details has been improved.
Previously, clicking a license reference in the audit log would redirect to the general license overview, requiring users to manually locate the relevant record. This has now been fixed so that links take users directly to the associated license.
This ensures faster access to relevant information and improves traceability when reviewing changes.

IG-2399 Multi-Table and Multi-DRG Support for Fleet Map

Release notes

System Admins can now view devices from multiple tables and DRGs on a single fleet map. Gain a unified geographical overview of all assets, regardless of data structure, with support for simultaneous multi-DRG data ingestion.

IG-2400 UI Framework Upgrade and Performance Improvements

Release notes

We’ve upgraded the underlying UI framework to a self-owned styled system, reducing reliance on external libraries and giving us greater control over the platform’s design and performance.
This change improves consistency across the interface and enables a more modular and maintainable codebase going forward.
As part of this update, dialog boxes and visual elements have been refined across the platform, resulting in a cleaner and more responsive user experience.

IG-2402 Option to Disable Recurring Alert Notifications

Release notes

Alerts can now be configured to trigger only once, instead of repeating while a condition remains active.
This is especially useful for scenarios such as data loss, where repeated notifications can create unnecessary noise. Users now have the option to disable recurring notifications, ensuring alerts are only sent when first triggered.
The setting is available directly in alert configuration, with improved guidance to clarify how notification frequency behaves across all alert types.
This provides greater control over alerting and helps reduce notification fatigue in day-to-day operations.

IG-2407 Dashboard Inheritance During Company Creation

Release notes

Creating sub-companies is now more efficient with the ability to assign dashboards and folders directly during setup.
This removes the need to navigate to separate pages and manually configure access afterward, particularly improving workflows for organizations managing many sub-companies and larger dashboard structures.
Access to dashboards and folders is automatically limited to what the user is permitted to see, ensuring consistency with existing permissions.

IG-2411 Cloud Timestamp Handling for MQTT Devices

Release notes

We’ve added support for assigning timestamps directly in DCC for MQTT-based devices.
This addresses scenarios where devices or software do not provide timestamps in a compatible format. DCC can now ensure consistent and accurate time-series data by applying the timestamp on ingestion.
This is particularly relevant for integrations such as Rockwell Optix and Softing Edge, where timestamp handling has previously been a limitation. With this update, these solutions can more easily stream data into DCC without requiring custom time formatting.

IG-2417 Line chart: Multi-axis scaling with automatic datasource grouping

Release notes

The Next-gen Chart widget now support multiple Y-axes with automatic grouping based on Axis Unit.
Datasources with the same Axis Unit and Y-axis position are combined into a single axis and share the same scale, while different units are displayed on separate axes.
This makes it easy to visualize and compare values such as temperature, pressure, and humidity in one chart without distortion, improving clarity in more complex datasets.

IG-2418 New Pie Chart widget for Machine State Distribution

Release notes

We’ve introduced a new pie chart widget that aligns with how pie charts are actually used in industrial analytics, showing distribution over time or events, not just raw values.
The widget is based on a single data refinement field (such as machine state) and visualizes how that data is distributed within a selected time period. This makes it ideal for understanding machine behavior, utilization, and state distribution across fleets.
Users can choose how the distribution is calculated:

  • Percentage of total time within the selected period
  • Percentage of total number of occurrences
  • Total time per segment (hh:mm:ss)
The pie chart respects the selected (or overridden) time range and automatically maps segment colors and labels based on the data refinement translations, ensuring consistent and intuitive visualization. This provides a much more accurate and meaningful way to analyze categorical data compared to the previous implementation.

IG-2426 Cross-Company License Assignment

Release notes

License assignment has been improved to support organizations with hierarchical company structures.
When assigning a license to a device within a sub-company, users can now select from all licenses they have access to across the organization, including licenses owned by parent companies.
To simplify administration, licenses belonging to the device’s own sub-company are prioritized in the selection list, making local resources easier to identify while still allowing shared license management across the organization.
The update maintains company hierarchy boundaries by preventing upper-level companies from assigning licenses owned exclusively by sub-companies.

IG-2432 Pause and Resume Realtime View in Dataviewer

Release notes

By default when zooming in on the Dataviewer window for a device, the window continues to move because the time picker remains set to Realtime (this is WAD).
Previously, stopping the moving time window required users to 1) manually open the time picker and 2) click “Apply time range”.
The Dataviewer now includes a dedicated pause/play toggle button directly in the toolbar for pausing and resuming realtime updates.
When working in realtime mode, users can pause the moving time window to inspect or zoom into specific events without the view continuing to update. Once finished, realtime mode can quickly be resumed with a single click.
The feature simplifies analysis workflows and makes it easier to investigate historical events while still working within a realtime session.

Bug Fixes

Release notes

A Privileged Dashboard Designers and Privileged Dashboard users would get an unauthorized access error when clicking on a device, and the status would be Online needs license, regardless of the license being valid. This has been fixed.

IG-2353 Improved Feedback for Unsaved Two-Way Widgets

Release notes

An issue has been resolved where two-way widgets appeared non-functional when a dashboard contained unsaved changes.
Previously, widgets such as Modbus controls were disabled without explanation until the dashboard was saved, making it unclear why interactions were unavailable.
Two-way widgets now clearly indicate when the dashboard must be saved before the widget can be used, improving usability and reducing confusion during dashboard editing.

IG-2371 Error When Removing Priority from Data Refinement Data Translation

Release notes

An issue has been resolved where removing a priority value in data translations could cause an error during saving.
It is now possible to revert fields such as priority back to their default state without errors, ensuring that existing configurations are preserved and do not need to be recreated.
This improves stability and makes editing data translations more reliable and user-friendly.

IG-2396 Licenses Not Displayed When Expanding Company Hierarchy

Release notes

An issue has been resolved where expanding a company in License Management did not display licenses within sub-companies.
Previously, users had to manually expand each sub-company to access associated licenses. This has now been fixed, ensuring licenses are shown as expected when navigating the company hierarchy.
